Meet Tez Garcia, our new Web and Graphic Designer. Join us as we learn a little bit more about Tez.
What will your role encompass at The Parish Group?
As The Parish Group’s Web and Graphic Designer, I will be using creative solutions to design marketing materials for the company, as well as leading the website design and maintenance.
What did you do prior to joining The Parish Group?
Prior to coming here, I was a website designer for a digital marketing company in Charlotte, NC.
What are some of your goals for your position?
My immediate goal as the Web and Graphic designer for The Parish Group is re-designing the website — so be on the lookout for that in the near future!
My long term goals are focused on growing my skill set as a designer and branching into the creative print design aspects of the company’s internal marketing strategy.
I’m excited to be a part of the internal marketing projects to further amplify the brand recognition of The Parish Group. We’ve been going the distance for our partner schools for over 35 years, so it’ll be great to give that same dedication and energy back to the company.
Where did you go to college?
I went to Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina.
What are some of your interests outside of work?
I’m a serial hobbyist! I love the outdoors, trying new things, meeting new people, and there’s nothing I love more than live music.
My hobbies include watercolor, camping, crocheting, walking through the woods, snowboarding, foraging, bug watching, and doodling.
