Transforming IEI’s recruitment and engagement systems with a tailored Slate CRM solution

The Institute for Educational Initiatives (IEI) at The University of Notre Dame is dedicated to the development of Catholic education through various graduate degree and non-degree programs in teaching.

Reason for partnership

The IEI at The University of Notre Dame sought to transition from a series of disparate systems, spreadsheets, and manual/ad hoc recruitment outreach processes into a comprehensive Slate instance to manage their various graduate degree, certificate, and engagement programs.

TPG’s Approach

The Parish Group (TPG) partnered with the IEI team to conceptualize and realize an expansive, inclusive, and multi-faceted CRM solution to serve their unique needs. From traditional recruitment outreach for degree programs to engaging alumni cohorts, K-12 school networks, donors, and friends of the program, TPG helped the IEI optimize its functional capacity and exponentially increase engagement.

Outcomes

Targeted enrollment gains and exponential outreach growth in the first recruitment cycle using Slate.

In the first recruitment cycle within Slate, the IEI’s primary degree and non-degree programs saw targeted enrollment increases while overall outbound digital communications increased by 2,300%. Taking advantage of drip campaign automation and far more comprehensive data management gave the IEI team the ability to significantly expand their recruitment outreach efforts to support their enrollment goals.
