As our Slate services grow, so does our Slate team. We’re so excited to welcome our new Slate Strategist, Carrie Stanley, to The Parish Group!

We asked Carrie some questions to get to know her better and learn how she’ll be helping TPG do BIG things.

What will you be in charge of at The Parish Group?

I will be serving clients by assisting them with the implementation and/or optimization of their Slate CRM to not only maximize prospective student communication and recruitment efforts, but also to craft a user-friendly application process for both applicants and the internal staff of our partner schools.

What did you do prior to joining TPG?

I worked in the admissions office at Henderson State University for the last five years. I have held positions as an Admissions Counselor, Transfer Advisor, and for the last 2 years I have worked as the CRM Manager.

As CRM Manager, I ran our Slate instance (for Graduate, Undergraduate, and International admissions), managed student records in our student information system (Banner), and supervised all undergraduate application processing. Additionally, in this role I helped with recruitment efforts for transfers and readmits, and other admissions events like preview days, campus tours, and new student orientation.

What are some of your goals for your new position?

At TPG, I hope to build upon the enrollment management skills that I gained in my previous role at HSU. I am eager to learn even more about the Slate CRM and how it can be built and used to best serve our wide variety of clients.

But, most importantly, I look forward to helping clients. Helping others is my motivation each and every day. As someone who has greatly benefited from companies like TPG, I am excited to have the opportunity to give back and help other institutions navigate the often overwhelming feelings that come with implementing and managing the Slate CRM.

We’re all about cheering on higher education here, so where did you go to college?

I received my Bachelors in Business Administration, Marketing at Henderson State University and my Master of Science in Student Affairs Administration at Arkansas Tech University.

What would we most likely find you doing outside of work?

My husband, Andrew, and I have a daughter, Rubi Gayle, who is two years old that definitely makes life both wild and entertaining.

In my free time I enjoy Broadway musicals (Wicked is my favorite, Hamilton is my second favorite), Disney musicals, cross stitching and crafting, as well as spending time with my family. Family is very important to me and I’m fortunate to live in the same town as my entire family, so we are all really close!

Andrew and I have also been very fortunate to be able to travel the world and visit places like Germany, Czech Republic, China, The Netherlands, Austria, and Greece. We have a bucket list a mile long of other places that we are itching to get to.
